A group of students attended the Build On event hosted by the Builders Guild of Western PA. Students were able to try many hands-on activities from different trade unions and apprenticeships programs.

The Leechburg Area School District is a small, public school district serving the communities of Leechburg Borough and Gilpin Township in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania and West Leechburg Borough in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
Leechburg Area School District services approximately 800 students from a population of approximately 6,000 residents. It is comprised of 3 schools: one middle school for grades 6-8, one high school for grades 9-12 and one elementary school for grades Pre K-5.
